Review : The Final Reckoning
Story revolves around 2nd world war Nazi-Jew hostility and runs the same thread till post 9/11 New York. Some of the elements of the story is based on facts but largely it remains as a work of fiction and does not ignite any controversy like Dan Brown.
Story is majorly “Guessable” and I was able to plot the climax through 3/4th of the book. Not a great action or thriller and the pace of the book is moderate. Skipping 10 pages and still you will be able to catch up with the story and you may not lose much important plot. Climax is not completely digested unless you underline yourself that it’s a fiction. Some unwanted characters appear too, without whom plot could have still stood ground.
One completely new styleI liked in this was advantage of writing vs. movie. There is a character called “The Boss” whose activities can be read thorugh but identity is kept a secret till the end of the book. That was something which I felt good and advantage of writing.
Overall score on a 1 to 5 scale will stand somewhere in 3 not more than that and I feel I am being generous here.
